Launch & Email Sequences

A welcome flow people actually finished — and bought from.

Bell & Brew — Coffee subscription
The brief

A specialty-coffee subscription with a one-email “welcome” that did nothing. They wanted a flow that turned first-time samplers into subscribers without sounding like a discount machine.

The challenge

The audience was coffee-obsessed and allergic to hype. Hard-sell would’ve killed it. The flow had to earn the sale by being genuinely good company in the inbox.

The approach

A five-email welcome flow built like a short course in good coffee — useful first, salesy never, with the offer landing exactly when trust peaked.

The words

What we actually wrote.

A few lines from the project — the flat version struck out, the sharper version in its place.

Your beans are getting lonely. So is your French press, probably.
“People reply to these emails. To a welcome flow. I didn’t know that was a thing that could happen.”Theo R. — Founder, Bell & Brew (coffee subscription)
